What does the Bible say when healing does not come the way you asked?
The Bible is honest that God does not always heal on our timeline or in the way we asked, and it does not treat that as God failing or your faith being too small. Paul begged God three times to remove a painful “thorn in my flesh,” and the answer was not healing but grace: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:8-9). Even Jesus, in the garden, prayed “take this cup from me,” and then “yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42).
